In this class the students will discuss the analysis of challenging behavior with an emphasis on techniques and tools used to gather data toward achieving an understanding of the function or meaning of an individual’s challenging behavior.
This class will emphasize the importance of team process in positive behavior support and end with a discussion about how success in helping a person with challenging behaviors is dependent on the existence of positive and supportive relationships.
