Event Description

According to the Summit County Public Health Dept., Alzheimer’s disease is the 6th leading cause of death in Ohio. It is estimated that 10% of Summit County’s population is at significant risk of either living with or developing Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. But education can help.

In this session participants will learn more in depth information around I/DD and Dementia in addition to specific strategies and supports that can be used to ensure person centered services and assist in the achievement of outcomes. You do not need to attend Part I in order to attend Part II.
