Event Description
Summit DD has a new training opportunity for independent providers, agency provider staff, SSAs, and IAs. This training focuses on supporting individuals in medical settings, with an emphasis on self-advocacy, independence, and choice.
Because often this planning requires a person’s entire team, this comprehensive training also provides an opportunity for providers, SSAs, and IAs to participate in a joint training and shared conversation.
Multiple Dates Available
The training will be offered in person at the Summit DD Cuyahoga Falls office on the following dates:
- October 29, 2026 | 10:00–11:00 AM
- November 5, 2026 | 12:00–1:00 PM
- November 11, 2026 | 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Annual Training Credits Available
The training can count toward the annual required training for:
- Independent Providers (IPs)
- Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Directors of Operations (DOOs)
