Event Description
In this class students will discuss the importance of rationale for assisting individuals with disabilities in becoming more connected to their communities.
Students will investigate the concept of a “Social Guide” and a “Community Builder” and apply these concepts to their own roles. This class will discuss the practical and emotional benefits of being connected to one’s community with a look at the importance of assuming valued social roles in the community.
