Coming September 2025, Summit DD’s MUI Department & QARN’s Karen Armour will be teaming up to present training about MUIs related to medication and medication administration best practices.

This training will cover the following:

• Responsibilities of Medication Administration
• What to expect in a QARN review and how it can help provide improvements
• Determining when a med error/administration issue is an UI or MUI and the investigative steps for each
• A review of the different types of MUIs that can involve med errors/admin issues; common C&CFs and tips to address them
