A new MUI Rule will take effect on 7/1/25. To help Providers prepare, Summit DD’s MUI team is offering a free supplemental training.
New Rule Takes Effect 7/1/25
Summit DD’s MUI team is here to help providers understand the upcoming changes and their responsibilities by offering additional training for Summit County providers. The changes to the rule will cover:
- some category definitions,
- what needs reported and how,
- how some MUIs are reviewed or investigated,
- and much more.
Trainings
Summit DD will offer (4) trainings in the months of June & July to review the important changes to the rule. This training is not meant to replace your annual MUI Rule training requirements. This additional training is meant to support providers and offer additional insight to the important changes to the rule taking effect on 7/1/25.
