Thanks for all you do & Happy Holidays!

Another busy year in MUI is at an end! We have all worked together to address some challenging situations and have bettered the lives of those we both serve as a result. We also worked together to implement a new rule this year, and I thank you all for your patience with us as we have worked through that process. To assist our provider community and other stakeholders with the MUI & UI processes, we have conducted over 30 trainings targeting a variety of topics related to MUI in 2025!

Looking Ahead

As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue our shared journey and work together to continue to improve the MUI process for all. With the new year will come some changes to the MUI department next year, and we will be as open about those changes as we possibly can.

Thank you

On behalf of the entire MUI Department, I’d like to say THANK YOU for all for the help you have provided my team and me this year. THANK YOU for the outreach you have all done to help improve our system. And THANK YOU for your dedication to the people we serve here in our community. We could not ensure the health and welfare of those with developmental disabilities in Summit County without your hard work and commitment. I look forward to continuing to find new and inventive ways to strengthen our partnership and support one another in the coming year.

Questions & Suggestions

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any ideas you may have to improve our relationship or share suggestions for new ways to partner in the future. On behalf of the whole Summit DD MUI team, I wish you and yours a very happy holiday season!
