We would like to introduce our newest Investigate Agent Cody Bauer! Cody started with Summit DD in November and has just recently started to be assigned cases.
Cody shared that his experience in the field began in grade school through volunteering in special education classrooms. Upon graduation from high school, Cody attended Hiram College where he began working as a part-time DSP at an Adult Day Program in Portage County while obtaining a bachelor’s degree in psychology. From there he became a full-time DSP, Program Manager, and Program Director during his time working at the Day Program before accepting an SSA position in Mahoning County in 2019. Cody spent time working as a Behavior Support Specialty SSA shortly after and then transferred to an Investigative Agent role in Mahoning County two years later.
“The reason I decided to continue my career at Summit DD was to continue expanding my knowledge and supporting the individuals served by our DD system. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and being with my family and friends.”
