Meet Summit DD Investigative Agent, Jamie Garden.

Jamie is a Licensed Social Worker and has been in the field of Social Work for 23 years. She graduated from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, NY. After graduation, she began working for Summit County Children Services, where she was employed for 11 years. Jamie came to Summit DD in 2010 and began working in the MUI Department.

“I have always wanted to help people,” Garden explained. “I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a social worker and advocate for people who are unable to do so for themselves.”

She shared that in her role as an Investigative Agent, she enjoys speaking with the individuals served by Summit DD as well as working with them and their teams to create solutions that ensure their health and safety.

Jamie has been married to her husband John for 18 years. Jamie and her husband have two teenage sons and “a very spoiled dog named Rigby.”
