This class discusses the effective teaching skills of a competent DSP in depth.

Student will investigate concepts related to how the intellect functions, with a strong focus on understanding their own preferred learning style and the learning styles of others, and then applying this understanding to their teaching methodology when working with individuals they support to learn new skills. A focus is made in this class of using multi-sensory instruction to help individuals to process information as well as determining the “Multiple Intelligences” of individuals and then incorporating that information into teaching techniques.
