Summit DD Launches Eat Safe Campaign for Providers

Summit DD’s Eat Safe campaign is designed to educate, support and help implement a safe eating culture for those with developmental disabilities in Summit County who are at risk for eating/swallowing difficulties.

The mission of our Eat Safe campaign is to inform and educate the individuals we serve, their families and caregivers, to help ensure their safety and enjoyment while eating and drinking.

COVID-19 Indoor Air Quality Assistance Program

Update: The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has expanded eligibility for reimbursement of expenses related to upgrading or purchasing items that assist with indoor air quality. The deadline for when funds must be spent has been extended to June, 2021. Providers can receive up to $15,000.

The COVID-19 Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assistance Program provides reimbursement for eligible applicants to help cover the costs of inspections, assessments, maintenance, and improvements to indoor heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to control the spread of COVID-19. It also provides reimbursement for secondary devices designed to destroy bacteria and mold and inactivate viruses.
