In the first half of 2025, an updated version of the MUI Rule is scheduled to come out.

There will be changes to some MUI categories and the process for how Category C cases are reviewed. There will also be changes to the UI process and how County Boards review UI Logs for Quality Assurance purposes amongst other changes.

The new rule is currently scheduled to release sometime in May 2025, but that is subject to change as the new rule goes through the approval process at the state level.

Prior to the new MUI Rule’s release, Summit DD will offer several training opportunities for stakeholders to learn about the upcoming rule changes and how they may affect your operations. Please keep an eye out for those training opportunities in the future.
